This exclusive celebration weekend is based in our gorgeous home town of Bright in the Victorian High Country, and brings together all of our favourite things. Guests will make their way to Bright on Friday. We start the weekend with a welcome aperitif, followed by a fabulous dinner at the chef-hatted restaurant, Elm Dining. On Saturday and Sunday there will be two fully guided hikes in the Mount Buffalo National Park, and an unforgettable sunset dinner at The Horn, the highest point on the mountain. Sunday evening will be a degustation dinner at a private home in Wandiligong prepared by local Italian chef Patrizia Simone. The weekend will finish after a winery visit on Monday morning, with a tasting and al-fresco brunch.

Walking / Terrain
Although there are only 2 days of walking, we have rated this weekend equivalent to a Level 4. The hikes are on generally well-graded tracks on hilly terrain, rocky in places. The walking is fairly rugged in sections so sturdy walking boots, with good ankle support, are recommended. There are some steep ascents and descents. Walking poles are very useful. There is no van access on Sunday so we hike the picnic in for you.
Average temperatures in February: Mount Buffalo: Max 24°- Min 10°. Average monthly rainfall: 62mm. These are averages so be prepared for both warmer (up to 28°) and cooler (down to 5°) temperatures. The weather in the mountains is prone to sudden changes so you need to have suitable warm/waterproof clothing, especially for the evening on Saturday.
