2017 marked the tenth anniversary of Hedonistic Hiking. Ten glorious years of hiking in some of the most beautiful parts of Italy, Slovenia, France, Austria and Australia and meeting countless wonderful people along the way. So how did we decide to celebrate?  With food, wine and walking of course!!  We got together as many of our team members as we could (Iole was busy with work in Basilicata so sadly could not join us) and headed to Saluzzo and the gorgeous hotel Antico Podere Propano, where anyone who has walked with us on our Jewels of Piedmont tour will have stayed. We had a fabulous blue day for our hike in the Po Valley at the foot of Monviso, with a picnic lunch accompanied by wine of course, and then enjoyed a delicious menu in Locanda Corona di Ferro in the heart of Saluzzo. It has never happened that all the team members have been in the same place at the same time until now, and so it was a true celebration and a really memorable birthday for Hedonistic Hiking. Here's to the next ten years!
